This hiking adventure enhances the understanding and familiarity among colleagues within the same department, improve interpersonal relationships and teamwork, and strengthen the recognition and sense of belonging to the corporate culture.
At the end of last month, Shanghai Ashi Technology Co.,Ltd organized a hiking activity in the suburbs of Shanghai. The participants were divided into groups according to their departments. This event aimed to enhance the understanding and familiarity among colleagues within the same department, improve interpersonal relationships and teamwork, and strengthen the recognition and sense of belonging to the corporate culture.
On the day of the hike, the weather was perfect. Each department group set off energetically. During the hike, colleagues who usually worked together but might not have had much personal interaction got the chance to chat and share stories.They helped each other when facing challenging parts of the trail, like steep hills or narrow paths. For example, when some colleagues felt exhausted climbing a steep slope, others would offer a helping hand or encouragement. They would say things like “You can do it!” or “Just a little further, and we’ll take a break.” One colleague even shared his walking stick with another who was struggling to keep balance on a rocky path. This cooperation not only made the hike smoother but also deepened their bonds.
At the breaks, team-building games were held. One popular game was “Tug of War.” The departments were paired up to compete.Before the game started, colleagues discussed strategies together. Some suggested positioning the stronger members at the back to provide more pulling power, while others focused on coordinating the timing of their pulls. During the game, everyone shouted and cheered for their team.Even those who were not directly participating were fully engaged, giving advice and encouragement. The game required everyone to work together and trust each other. When one team won, they celebrated together, and even the losing team felt a sense of accomplishment for having tried their best. The game not only brought out the competitive spirit but also strengthened the sense of unity and camaraderie among the colleagues.
By the end of the day, everyone returned with tired but happy faces. They had not only enjoyed the beauty of nature but also grown closer as a team. This activity was a great success in promoting a positive and cohesive corporate culture within Shanghai Ashi Technology Co.,Ltd.
