This nylon tricot fabric, our article number AHS10245, is a warp knitted tricot fabric and made with 100% 40D bright nylon yarn. The finished weight is about 86g/m2. The width could be 108 inch or 60 inch. This nylon fabric has about 10-15% mechanical stretch in width but does not stretch in length. It is anti-static and anti-cling and has a very soft touch to the skin.
As 40D nylon tricot fabric is durable, low-stretch and soft touch, it is really an excellent fabric material for aerial silks and yoga hammocks. Aerial yoga is also called anti-gravity yoga. Our aerial silk fabrics will fully support the practitioners in forming shapes, as it’s durable with the max load about 3500 lb. At the same time, it is low-medium stretch, soft and cool to touch with a beautiful subtle sheer. When the users sit and cocoon comfortably in the hammock, the silk fabric will conform to your body contour and provide generous width. That’s why our 108-inch-wide bright nylon tricot fabric is called silk hammock or yoga swing fabric.
